I came across these medals from a few pictures and despite a pretty lengthy search I cannot identify them. I was hoping someone here might have more luck. From the origin of the pictures I believe they are British, one has a purple sash, a white cross with a crown in the centre, surrounded by crowns around the cross. The other, probably harder to identify as I only have one picture, has a green sash, white and green cross.
I apologise that the pictures are of low quality but would be keen on any idea on what they may be. Thanks!
They are not British, at least not modern honours. I think the green one is from the Catholic Order of Saint Lazarus, either the original Crusader-era Order or the 1910 reinstitution. Like this example on Worthpoint.
If this is indeed the case, then I would be surprised if the other medal were not a Catholic Order too.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
