This coin weighs 1.02g and is 11mm in diameter. I just purchased a huge lot of ancient coins and I am posting the few I could not attribute myself. Any help identifying this would be most appreciated.

The obverse looks like a helmeted figure and the reverse looks like an animal of some sort, cow?

@two, these pics are a bit fuzzy, but could that be an elephant instead?

Thanks for looking! Here are some better photos, hope this helps. It does not seem to look like an elephant, but I could be wrong.

Interestingly, I posted another unknown Greek coin today which does appear to have an elephant reverse...

Assuming this is a bull (walking) reverse, I would imagine the coin may be an issue of Thourioi, Lucania. Hard to get a good read on the animal.

Different size, but perhaps something of this ilk:

And similar here, but with bull to right:

Thank you for the help! This does indeed appear to be a Thourioi coin, the style matches. The reverse definitely looks like a bull walking left to me in person. I couldnt find any matches on Wildwinds, my Sear book, or acs coin search. Perhaps my variant is just unlisted... 🤷 #127995;#8205;#9794;#65039;
