this weighs 1.14 grams and has a diameter of about 15 millimeters.

The fabric and imagery suggest later roman or even byzantine.

The first image has a figure with what looks like a sceptre. The inscription on the left has a few readable letters, perhaps MAN or MAX...

Image 2 appears to have a halo

Perhaps a tetarteron of Manuel I Comnenus with St. George.

Well, thanks again-another ID is a good Christmas present. It seems that the weight suggests a 1/2 tetarteron?

I didn't know that the Byzantines issued such tiny coins. I have learned something today.
