Sold 8 lots today, 5 to one person, which is nice. I got a cancel order request on one of the auction items. One that had multiple bids. But it seems like, since I haven't mailed the coin yet, my only options are to accept the canceled order and relist it. Any other ideas?

I would think, it would be easy for ebay to go with the second highest bidder and make them the winner.

After you cancel the order, you can make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder at their last bidding price.

I didn't know that. Thanks Zurie. Good information for the future.

Very good to know Zurie, thanks! You would think ebay could mention that option, or put a link to that description, in their cancel order message.

I should have waited for a response on this forum. But I checked with the buyer that bought 5 items. To see if he had been a bidder on the canceled coin. Would have sent it to him for his last bid. Some confusion because I had two Mexican silver coins listed, one 90% one 72%. Ultimately he realized he had not bid on the one that got canceled. But I offered it to him at $17. $3 below my starting bid, $6 below the winning bid. But these were all free shipping. And I had built enough into the starting price of each lot to cover shipping. So when someone buys 5... I do pretty well. Adding one more ounce to the package wouldn't add any to what I was paying in shipping. He accepted, I was happy, he was happy. Worked out in the end.

But I am def glad I know about the second chance offer if this happens again.

Also added the bidder, checo0-92, to my blocked list.
