Happy New Year's all. Ok this quarter I believe is collar clash. My question is both Obverse and reverse are like this and it is not fat on one side of the coin. How did this strike happen? I thought when this happens the coin does not sit even and outside the band I guess. I may have my words wrong. Thought at first it was on a different planchet, but it's the same size as a quarter. Just a hair smaller and weighs 5.7 just want a better understanding if any or all could. Thank you for your time
Thanks John. It seems to be pretty common. Is it still considered a collar clash, and if the obverse and reverse meet like this picture is that still tilted? This is on a different coin. I'm gonna search a video on this . Thanks
