I just picked these babies up from my dealer. I saw them in his case about 5 months ago and had them put on layaway after we dickered over the price a bit.

Nope, weak stars are pretty normal for the V nickels- just a sign of strike weakness. The left ear of corn on the reverse is usually weak too.

Very nice coins, though I wouldn't consider what he has a spare. One is a "cents" and one has "no cents". The no cent variant is easy to find in that grade, but the "cents" is quite tough and probably cost considerably more.
