Quote: What make and model of label maker did you use to make your labels? I used page size clear shipping labels. They can be printed on using an inkjet. That gave me full control over font (Rockwell), word size (14 for titles, 9 for names, 6 for details), and line length, though trying to minimize number of pages used resulted in some awkward cuts. I found mine at Staples, probably any office store should have them in the mail/ship section

Good effort for making these pages, the idea of Dansco making a premium 7070 type set with another 3-4 pages. The album would add another 1/2" depth.

A brilliant job PNWType! !! Wish I knew what was happening with Dansco. Not a question for you, just a general question... Are Dansco's still being produced? Here?..... Probably China!! Here's something else to consider..

Quote: Wish I knew what was happening with Dansco I had to get in contact with them to get my blanks so I can actually answer this pretty well. They're an American company and they were initially based out of California. End of 2019 they were completing moving their full facility from CA to Sumas, WA. But then 2020 happened, and they've been having trouble getting back to production. The reps tell me it's a matter of time and getting a handle on the pandemic of course

I love this! Don't let Dansco or anyone else dictate to you what a "type set" is. Here's mine, mostly in loose bags and mostly randomly grabbed for this photo, but ... Will someday add the expensive stuff like Wreath, Chain, Flowing hair silver, but those are never included in any of these 'type' albums anyway.

Quote: The album would add another 1/2" depth. Funny enough my new album is still housed in the original 1" album. Because of the optional gold page a 7070 album can hold 6 pages, and with a 7th it just bows out a little extra. In the future though I plan to upgrade into a 1 1/4" album so that everything sits pretty. Supposedly Dansco will custom print the gold lettering on albums to order

Wow Tim! Love those liberty cap and the draped silver, I've yet to get my hands on any examples YET
Free form is a good way to go but I needed the organization, at least for the main stuff. When it gets to stuff like the chain cent, flowing hair silver I too hope to have them one day but slabbed for sure
