Hello, I have been collecting coins now for a few years but have just recently began trying to learn this new found and immensely complicated hobby. I cant find this particular error anywhere online...Please Help!

to CCF. It looks like acid damage or heat damage to me,not an error. Give it a bit for a pro or two to chime in.

Its just had a hard life, possibly buried in acidic soil, and then cleaned after it was exhumed.

Yes, not an error. It's a victim of less-than-optimum post mint experiences

Environmental damage, I agree looks like acid damage. Post mint damage ( PMD), not a mint error.
