I found this coin in a bunch of pennies I had lying around, and for the life of me I can't quite figure out if it's an un plated zinc penny, a penny that has been stripped of it's copper chemically (But looking under the scope I could not find a trace of copper anywhere) or if it has been electroplated. The raised bumps on the surface really have me curious what would cause that. I did learn that putting the iPhone to my binocular scope produced some really impressive close up shots.

I could not weight it sadly, but It is completely non-magnetic.

Any help would be appreciated!

Probably rubbed with mercury.
The surface layer turns white and an amalgum (mecury / copper alloy), is formed.

Over long period of time, the copper and mercury atoms migrate back to where they started, and the mercury in the surface will slowly rub off.
Coin pictured has already started in this process; that is why it looks dull white, rather than silvery white.

There is a possibility that it was white metal electroplated in a high school lab experiment, but from it's appearance in this case, I don't think so.

Thanks a bunch!

I knew the markings on it did not look like die damage, but for the life of me I could not gather what the heck was actually done to the coin. Thanks for taking the time to explain what I was looking at.

Altered coin. (Zinc added over the plating. Several YouTube videos on this) Note the raised areas on the plating, that is the zinc dust under the copper plating, enhanced by the over coating of zinc:
