I have 1946, 1946,1951,1953, and 1964 Roosevelt dimes. On my scales set to grams they all weigh less than 2.50 grams I am sure they are 90% silver. They are damaged coins so I have included them with my junk silver whythe change in weigh? Could be my scales?

2.50 grams is normal +/- mint tolerance. Damage and wear will make then weigh less. Double check your scale, you can also buy weights to calibrate your scale.

It could be your scale. If they are close to 2.50 grams, it's within tolerance.

It's not expensive to get a set of weights to calibrate your scale.
