Love finding these, the 1 of 1971 does not come out in pics but its there. A long time in someone's pocket, since the grade is made by pocket/hand wear would this garner "Details" grade from PCGS? Plan on keeping it would it grade?

How about a PO-1?
EDIT: If others chime in here with PO-1 grades, I'd submit that sucker for sure!!

Obverse looks good for a possible PO1 but reverse needs alot more wear to match it.

Come on guys. You don't have to see the 1. The OP says it's there. He's got the coin in hand!
I would love to see it as a PO-1.

Maybe if I clarify my post it may help. In your opionion what is the grade of the heavily circulated 1971 D half dollar? Please and thank you.

I'm thinking the worn half may have spent considerable time in a casino--the extreme wear not necessarily due to time in a pocket.
