Love finding these, the 1 of 1971 does not come out in pics but its there. A long time in someone's pocket, since the grade is made by pocket/hand wear would this garner "Details" grade from PCGS? Plan on keeping it would it grade?

How about a PO-1?

EDIT: If others chime in here with PO-1 grades, I'd submit that sucker for sure!!

Obverse looks good for a possible PO1 but reverse needs alot more wear to match it.

Come on guys. You don't have to see the 1. The OP says it's there. He's got the coin in hand!

I would love to see it as a PO-1.

Yes a 71 is there but only visible if canted downward and right. I just get to know those 1971's on sight their different sharper deeper and the rims are better but besides all that lets give me the benefits of doubt on date, this one may go in the 12 for $112.00 ANAC postmarked tomorrow. Can you believe this gem BU was crammed in with these?

I stand corrected after some shuteye and friendly photo editing my proclaimed 1 is now a 4 leading me to deduce the date is 1974 D...I think

I'm thinking the worn half may have spent considerable time in a casino--the extreme wear not necessarily due to time in a pocket.
Rest in Peace
