Thanks MOS0239. I was looking at the spike head on this and noticed it runs all the way to the rim. Its light at the bottom but looks like it to me

At this point I just think it's a well circulated coin with many hits and damage. Maybe others will see something I'm not and chime in.

Check out the designer's initials. You can see that gouge runs towards the top. I thought the top was a strike through but the line runs from top to bottom
