This is the 1987D
LMC that, at first glance, I thought might have been DDO-001. (The MM location on this coin is not the same as DDO-001.)
VV Link to DDO-001
http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20...7DDDO001.htmThere is some clear doubling on BER of LIBERTY(not MD) that resembles the doubling in the link above. There is also minor amounts of split plating issues, some stronger than others. (Imagine that, on a Zincoln.)
The coin had a lot of "cup holder" type environmental damage. I "traded" the details grade (environmental) for a details grade (environmental/cleaned) coin to get better images by soaking in Hydrogen peroxide and applying a cotton swab. Peroxide did a decent job and it's currently in Acetone to see if the residual greenish goop can be removed.
Look at the images and let me know your thoughts on what may have caused the doubling.
I truly appreciate everyone here and hope you take the time to add your insight. Thanks, PP55
(The first images are before the peroxide soak.)

These are after the soak.
