I need help identifying this coin please and any information you can tell me about it please. It appears to be made of silver. This coin was purchased at a garage sale that was in with a bunch of other foreign coins in a cardboard cigar box. I have tried performing a search online, but could not find a coin that looks close to this one.

Resembles some issues of the Kuras of Kolhapur (ancient India) with arched hill reverses. But those would be in lead, I believe. And, in any event, I'm not sure if the legend of the OP coin above is in Brahmi.

This is a lead coin of the Kuras of Kolhapur and Belgaum: c. 30BC to AD 65/70 in the name of Raja Gautamiputra Vilivayakura.
Obv.: Bow and arrow with Brahmi text around (starting at tipe of arrow) Rajno Gotamiputasa Vilivayakurasa
Rev.: 10-arched hill with swastika above (left), and tree (right), all above rectangle containing river symbol.

Yes, that is precisely the type I referred to. Here's a direct comparison to make it easier, below. There's no doubt this is the type that the OP coin emulates.

But the fact that it is produced in silver or billon may be a red flag. I don't know if these were issued in anything other than lead in antiquity. But, then, it's not my area. I recommend the mods move this thread to the ancients/medieval section for, hopefully, some opinions.

I was assuming (I know what what happens when you assume) it might be silver. I did not think it could be lead. I am a noob to the coin arena. It easily scratched on the side so it may be lead. Thanks again.
