I am needing to know if anyone can tell me if this is a error coin or just from circulation and not being preserved. Though I never noticed it before. I am a new collector so please any information is appreciated.

Just environmental damage. It could have been buried or damaged by chemical exposure. It didn't look like this when I left the mint.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Yes, damage caused in circulation--exposure to some rather harsh environmental agents.

Agree, just environmental damage. Perhaps buried at one point.

Agreed, environmental tarnishing/toning/staining. No premium I'm afraid. Spend it.

There is a search box at the top of every CCF page on the left. There is a vast wealth of knowledge to be found in past threads and pages, all available to you to use. Search on any term or error you don't understand, plus, don't be afraid to ask, we're all here to help and we all started somewhere! Again, welcome!
