Crazy Doubled Die Reverse / DDR On A German 1917f Pfennig

mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2955 Posts	Posted 01/12/2021 07:31 am This is one of the absolute craziest double-dies I have ever seen on any foreign coin. It is a possible discovery piece. It's a strong class IV DDR (the whole eagle and both mintmarks are shifted). There are about 5 Retained Cuds near the mintmark region, and to top it off, the dies are rotated about 10 degrees. The coin grades about a VF to me. I'm also not sure on what this would be valued at? Report this Post to the Staff

mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2955 Posts	Posted 01/12/2021 07:47 am I have not learned yet on how to rotate images, and when I tried to crop the reverse, it managed to chop off the very top of the image. I also tried to include the obverse and post it, but had problems in cropping it. At least I got the most important picture up, since there is not much going on the obverse.
