I came across this site when searching to see if a fifty year old Washington quarter had appreciated in value. While searching I came across the double stamp forum and found it festinating. So I check my pile of quarters and found tis anomaly.

Anyone recognize it it has a smaller circle stamped right through the lettering, ending just after the number one in the date.

I took photos with different backgrounds and lighting to help givr more definition to the anomaly. It doesn't look intentional to me.
