Hi everyone, newbie here. I'll go add myself to the correct forum after I sleep as I've been up all night trying to find details about this exact same coin I've just bought. Sure is a hard one to find!
So I'm really happy to find it on a forum that also looks awesome to join as I've been coin collecting for many years in the range of roman to modern, silver, gold to plain old CU commemoratives.
I'm waiting for the coin to arrive and will do an acid test, measurement, weight ect and get back here to report after that.

Mystery solved.. It's brass and a fantasy coin. Not sure who made them but possibly a Chinese medal.

You need to go to the experts likePCGS and NGC to grade your coin only them can verify your coin they have the tools and expertise. There are very rare coins that we don't know they exists and I've read one of the experts talking about that kind of coin that are very very rare that is why you don't see them anywhere. You will find the Liberty patterns by George T Morgan from 1876 to 1885 but no 1886 to 1888 because these are the 10th anniversary dates when George T Morgan Starts Working in 1876 here in the USA and the 10th anniversary when his design full Liberty head was used for the silver Dollar coin in 1878. Like I said they are very rare that even Chinese don't know those kind of coins exist. How do you copy the one that you don't know. One more thing there is no token made like a real exact US coins. If your coin is real the straight guys will know it.

Not genuine by any stretch, but a great conversation piece. Keep it!

Yes, welcome SeeLee! I approve of your avatar as I'm a huge admirer of Bennito Pistrucci. His coinage and numerous medal designs while employed by the London Mint are true masterpieces. St. George slaying the dragon is a timeless classic.
