Can Anyone Identify? Bronze 24mm Tree (Apple? Fruit?)

Spence Moderator United States 34408 Posts	Posted 01/17/2021 09:28 am @po, perhaps it is a whist counter, but when others have pondered this question with similar examples, it seems like the non-definitive answer ends up being split between this being a tree of life token and a Mexican Guatimoc coffee token. In my mind, the crosshatching on the rev tends toward the tree of life explanation. I see some resemblance between the trees depicted on these examples and that on my original piece inquired about. Perhaps an earlier or later version, or a rival hacienda?
