I think this is the beginning of a small delam on the device next to the date obv. And on the rev it looks like a punch thru below the O of Dollar but the photos don't capture it perfectly.

It looks like whatever hit the lower 1 damaged below the leg of 9 as well.

You indicate "the beginning " of a delamination.

A lamination (or delamination) is not a progressive occurrence.
It is a function of an issue on the metal it's self.

I am not an expert - so if I am I correct - I am sure some of the real experts will correct my statement.
