Nice find! A sizable clip to be roaming around for this long. Titles need to be a minimum of 20 characters, so you can fit more than 20 characters in your title they just don't want you using less than 20 characters. So "1941 Lincoln Wheat cent Clipped Planchet" would be acceptable!

Got it in a box of Wheats I purchased online, not cheap but so far loving all the wheats to go thru.

Assuming they've all been in there for quite some time.

I'm right on the border of yes/no.

I think I see a slight indication of the Blakesley Effect but not sure.
I would have expected to see more.

And where the rim disappears at the edge of the clip I would have expected to see more flattening.

Om the other hand the "S" and "U" on the reverse at the clip seem to have nicely "softened" as would be expected.

Close call.
