For some reason, 1952's MMS-4 suffered far more broken serifs than any other mintmark style. I believe this coin has a broken punch RPM, but I could be mistaken and it is just PMD.

I have looked over both CopperCoins and VarietyVista and am not seeing an example of this RPM. Does anyone recognize it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I agree. MM location is a match.

Quote from the site on this one dealing with the bottom serif:

A nice split serif can be seen on the upper mintmark. The bottom serif shows evidence of a damaged punch.

From the coppercoins site.

Yes, 1MM-12 was my first thought too: The MM location is right on the money. Though it looks to have a slight forward lean while mine has a more straight up appearance maybe that is just an optical illusion.

I'll call it good, thanks.
