thought this was a weird find. first I was like just a washer/dryer bill.
but then got to thinking why the other marks are so bright yet?

Thoughts?

The inks used for the first and second print are formulated differently than the inks used in the overprint (3rd print) which might explain why the overprint is still bright. I don't believe counterfeiting figures in, but I could be wrong.

I would be suspicious of this bill.

I once received a five dollar bill that looked like this where the green ink and the black inked numbers and seal were crisp and bright but the rest of the bill was faded.

It turns out it was counterfeit.
