Participating in one auction I won several Proof coins of South Africa 1974, but unfortunately not the entire set (they were sold separately) I now have 1/2 cent , 2 cents, 10 cents, and 50 cents. The question is this. What do you think I should do with these coins ? Sell them ( for how much?) or search for missing instances?

From what you posted, it appears you were going after the complete set. Why stop now? If I was in your situation, I would consider the coins that I won to be my starting point, and pursue the other coins in the set. I know that I would enjoy the hunt for the additional coins!
