Somewhere around low Mint State, probably around MS61. Although I am certainly far from an expert on Canadian coins. Nice coin

Could be around MS63 or MS64, probably a bit lower due to those scratches. Great luster and eye appeal, nearly free of toning except the rim of the reverse.

Put me in the 63 camp. A lovely, problem-free example.

Looks like a Pointed 7. I'll say MS-62, only because it looks like there are a bunch of scratches. In hand I could see it being MS-63. Tht's a very nice example.

And? I don't see a dot, nor do I see a 4/4. Is there something else I should be looking for?

I believe it is a dot? some dots are weak. I have another 2 certified with very weak dots.
definitely no 4/4.

That is NOT a dot. And although you did a dirty delete on some previous comments, yours is nothing more than a regular pointed 7.

what is a dirty delete?
Just be aware that I do not need to do anything dirty!
so, in your opinion, what is this round thing "looking like a DOT", I never stated that it is. Just wanted to know.
easy to say it is not a dot when it looks like a DOT.
and, who cares if it is or is not?
you better say what you think it is.
even if you do not agree, a TPG will eventually decide!
BTW, what you call "a regular P7", is scarcer than a 1948!
so, if it is not a dot... what is it?
have to check out what: dirty delete means

H , a dirty delete is when you post something , then subsequently
delete so it looks like it never existed .
BTW a 1947 P7 dot can be tricky. You are right the Dot can easily be missed.
This makes it a Cherry pickers delight !
Anyway of getting a slightly more detailed picture of just the. " 47 and the field behind the 7"
I believe that there is a Dot there based on what my desk top is showing !
Cheers

I agree with Jack. Nice coin. Dot might not be far enough from 7 though.
