I have been thinking (scary I know), I really don't need to have a new graysheet every week, and would rather spen the subscription money directly on coins, but I would occationally like to have a newer copy. Do you think a Dealer would be willing to let me have/buy a copy that was a week or two old? Is there any reason that someone wouldn't let me?

Depends on the dealer. IF you know one real well that should be no problem. HOWEVER, if you approach most dealers they would probably tell you they spent money on those so you should do the same. Some dealers may sell you an older copy for a reduced price though.

I'm curious just how often there are weekly changes to the grey sheet and how many coins per week change in price. Seems like month to month guides would make more sense, except for buillion related material.

I recently decided to start purchasing the $13.75 pack a couple times a year and it contains The Coin Dealer Newsletter (Greysheet), The CDN Monthly Supplement, The CDN Quarterly I, The CDN Quarterly II, The CDN Quarterly III, The Certified Coin Dealer Newsletter (Bluesheet), and The Currency Dealer Newsletter (Greensheet).

This parallels my line of thinking. In fact quarterly is often enough for me since I'm not a dealer.
