Looks like the upper serif has a minor split, so I'd say yes to RPM. It's a small one but one nonetheless, good find!

The complete 1953-S Wexler RPM list is still being worked on, we'll have to wait to see what # this one is.

Seeing this coin reminded me of a coin that was sold to me and when I made images of it for the site, I noticed it wasn't a S/S, but a S/S/S.

It made me wonder how many of the RPM was attributed incorrectly through the many years? Your eye is spot on at finding your coin.
