Thanks again for the help with the 1881 coin. I have another question about Morgan dollar and don't want to start my own topic if it's allowed. On the pictures below you can see some coins. There are a total of 24 and genuine. My question relates to the condition of the coins. These look like they have been cleaned because I can't imagine that they are all so beautiful and in their original condition. How does cleaning affect the value of such coins? I would be grateful for your opinion again. I don't know which years the set contains and the condition of each individual coin is also unknown. The 24 pieces are offered for USD 760. Bye, swissly

With your current questions, they seem to apply more generally to this whole set, so that is fine. However, these questions really have nothing to do with the coin in your prior thread. Folks who would like to see the earlier thread, can find it at this link: http://goccf.com/t/391696

Best to post one coin at a time. From this pics I would say all these coins are dipped. But would like to see them one at a time

They all look like Chinese Counterfeits from the minimal pix shown . I would love to buy a lot with high grade 1893 and 1894 coins you pictured at Common date prices . In my opinion you have a load of junk there!

Pacificoin has seen more Morgans than I will probably ever see, but to his point about the asking price and the dates on the coins, I have to say that the deal you are looking at should smell as fishy as the new $50 "Rolex" one of my childhood friends was prancing around with after his father obtained it while traveling abroad in '90's.
Wonder which item has a higher ratio of counterfeits to genuine examples, the watches or the coins in question?

Any jewelry their in Swiss can scan your coins with XRF. Seem to be Chinese counterfeit not cleaned coins. 760US$? genuine? with 1893 and 1894? "Ich glaube nicht" (german I do not thing so).
All seem to have same color and brilliance, characteristic to the chine counterfeits because they use in the alloy zinc instead of 900gr Ag and 100gr Cu per 1ooogr. This give more brilliance and easy to polish. Other, only the tray cost 20$ and more. Look at the stars on the coins, Chinese never was able to replica this correct.
I will not buy without testing the coins. At this quality, genuine must be around 23.70 to 23.74gr.
grüß Gott

Avoid this one. If it's too good to be true.... you know the rest.

Is there a way to see if these coins are magnetic? That is one way to test for genuineness.

Looks like a mix collection of genuine and counterfeit coins.
