I think I'll wait this one out until we get some in hand pics. Obviously better than VF  . MS-something with a sneaking suspicion of a cleaning. |

I understand that suspicion, reverse looks off to me, but I'm hoping that's just the photos because the obverse looks fine imo

Can you crop and enlarge these pics? Also concerned about the difference in color between the two sides.

I have the same feeling that you guys have . I don't think it was cleaned but something's fishy about the coin . The grade is much better than VF as we all agree but that's not the problem is it ?  |

Sorry frog, the size of the pics is the biggest I've got, making them bigger will only pixelate them.
I have full return privileges so worst case scenario I lose out on $4, no big deal.
As soon as I get the coin in hand I will have new pictures of it outside the holder.

Maybe 5 years ago I seen some China counterfeits. This looks like one to me.

if this coin is a counterfeit it's extremely well done. the obverse looks MS, the reverse cannot be determined due to the blurry photo. AU58 or MS63 maybe 64. the field disturbance to the right of the date may impact any grade or value. would like to see better photos when you get it

 guessing they were trying to get rid of that fingerprint on the obverse. Obverse color looks completely different than sellers pics. |

I agree, reverse looks quite good though, nothing really jumps out at me. I think I'm going to pass on any Indian cent that looks BU raw on ebay from now on, this is the second time I've gotten burned, luckily I was actually able to return this one. Edited by Adam_E
