Well from PA and never get any D mint coins but now in south Texas for the winter and WOW just can't seem to give any coins back they are all D mints.

Funny what we take for granted.

I got 10 rolls of pennies today we have a cold spell here been going through them and almost all are D mints will fill up some holes in the books.

Guess I will look at penny, nickel and quarter rolls oh dimes also will probably get allot and take back to PA with me to go through also sure is funny getting D mints.

Back in PA I must have went through 50 dollars of rolls and did not find one 2008 P in them but only got 20 rolls here so far and filled up two rolls of 2008 D mints out of about $6.00 I looked at so far funny wonder why there are no 2008 P mints at home pennies that is.

Try finding any recent "P" coins in Denver!

You are aware that Philly Cents still do not have mintmarks, to this day? NO Philly coins had a mintmark until the 1942-P "wartime" Nickel, in fact.

Ha, I'm in Texas and have only one coin to go before completing my D State Quarter collection, but I have sooooo many holes in the P side, can't ever seem to get those around here!

The 'general' rule is that East of the Mississippi will have "P"
coins in the Federal Reserves and West of the Mississippi will have "D" coins in the Federal Reserves.

I got an Alaska "P" in circulation and didn't even know it for 2 days, because I assumed that anything that new from circulation couldn't possibly be a "P" and I didn't bother looking at the obverse...

And I've been looking for that P mark on coins for so many years and no wonder I can't fill an Album.
In the Illinois area we get both all the time. We are rather in the middle of the coin distributions I think. Of course we here are planning on starting a C Mint for Chicago seeing how all the important people lately are from around here.
Planned on having coins made with the Govenors on the obverse and the jail their in on the reverse.
