I'm seeing something running along the top part of United on this coins reverse. Is it anything significant, if anything at all?

It is a die crack that is very common among the entire Morgan dollar series. Die cracks are typically not listed as VAMs but can be useful markers to confirm a listed VAM. Generally a die crack will need to progress to a die break where die steel is missing or shifted producing raised or even missing features.
