Your pictures are very blurry and would help everyone on the forum if we had better pics. I can see the purported "S" in place of where the 8 would go in the date. The one thing that stood out right away was the strike of the Cent, if it was an actual Mint made coin. The obvious thing I noticed was the nose on the 196 'S' you are referring to. Linc's nose looks like Pinocchio and that is not consistent with a Lincoln Cent profile of Abe's face. Just my first impression here.

No worries CB21. Didn't mean to sound like you had to rush to post better pics. My apologies if I came across that way. Heck..... I'm still learning how to take good pics myself and then posting and editing them is another issue (I'm not a computer or photo type guy). CCF has a great photo optimizer for you to use but your initial pictures need to be clear and not distorted or blurry.

Please, one coin per thread, and the photos should include the entire coin, both sides, and closeups of any special areas you'd like us to address. Specifically tell us the question/issue, and show us as well.
