This is the third and final coin of interest from my nickel bag. I saw this flag coming off the mint mark and looked up the RPMs. Nope. Thought to look up the OMMs and there it was. Not too bad a nickel bag with three hits in just over 500 coins.

I'm not seeing this is as OMM-001 or an over mint mark of any sort, I may be totally wrong and if so my apologies. What resource are you viewing that shows this as 001?

I'm not much of a nickel person but it looks like a late die stage of this to me:

Thank you for the VV link. I did look it up on VV but for some reason I did not get this exact breakdown. I now see what appears to be an extremely late die stage on this Jefferson. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong which lends to the process of learning. I stand corrected . Good find TB.

Thanks! I think when you look at the full coin photo of the reverse the OMM stands out pretty well. It's late die stage so gets kinda mushy in the close up.

Is it possible to spot any die gouges?

I think OMM-001 is plausible. Very cool find! The Jefferson series has many OMMs in it.

I would need a late die stage example to compare any die gouges to and there isn't one on VV. Maybe on coinfacts or somewhere I could find one but looking for gouges is only useful if I have a comparison somewhere.
