Looking for professional help :/ I Been trying to research this 1964 nickel the best I can, and I'm not getting anywhere, I only been looking and collecting coins for a few weeks now and I really enjoy it ,, anyway this is my first so called find, expect for my Wheat penny Collection lol . .. here are some pictures of my nickel . Your Nickel appears to be a normal business strike from the Philadelphia Mint.

I agree with Scuba1, looks to be a business strike

A "special strike" nickel, either proof or the elusive '64 SMS, would have really strong details resulting from the more-than-business-strike striking pressure. The reverse on this example lacks the sharpness of a specially struck nickel. Still a nice example of the vintage Jefferson design though!

Nicer grade, common '64 nickel. The '64 was produced in prodigious volume so there are many in decent condition out there still doing their job. Nice coin.

Only other option would be impaired proof? Can't tell for sure from photos.
