I got this in a roll from my bank I know the s means minted in San Francisco but thats all I know I'm a new collector any advice please and thanks

S coins are getting a little hard to come by, but they're not really rare. On the West Coast, I'd say I find them nearly as often as D coins and far more than P coins for the applicable date range. They might be rarer in the East. I'd only keep them if they were exceptionally nice.

not a particularly uncommon coin...

yours is about average condition for is age,,,

nice photos...

i usually keep nickles - only pre 1960..
you should keep whatever you ejjoy...
