In fact I know for example 2012 how many sets was sold (~20K).
I past through more then 10 premium sets I have (11). Not all are gold plated. Some has 1 or two coins, some seem to be plating errors (all coin plated) etc.
Between the premium set and proof set we can see differences of the cam quality, no doubt (premium sets is silver).
So in conclusion: when they say selectively gold plated what mean is not all are gold plated, Charlton give the no of sold sets only. So I will like to know if it is a way to know the no of gold plated coins, if it is possible.
