When the pandemic started, tried to get my then fourteen year old kid interested in numismatics by asking him to sort out my coin jar. We found almost all of the State Quarters and very many of the ATB coins. But till date have found none of the W quarters in loose change or while doing CRH. Not a big fan of the plastic case, but that was the only option left and hence decided to look for slabbed ones on ebay. Kept searching for a while but finally completed the 2020 W Mint ATB Quarter Set in The PCGS 2020 Quarter Quest https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/u-...album/247091It all started with a low cost attempt with the 2019 set. https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/u-...album/245548Was great fun while it lasted, but will I partake in their new 2021 challenge announced recently, I don't know. Would love to hear feedback on here and on the comment section in the links. Cheers.

Didn't know about these quarter challenges - cool, and great that you got your son in on it :) As someone without a W quarter (yet! yet, I tell you!) I'm pretty jealous of any that you pulled out, so....yeah, keep it up

Thank you. If it makes you feel any better, have not found even one W quarter till date. Bought it all off ebay for 30 bucks on an average which I thought was a fair price factoring in the postage and cost of slabbing etc. Banks were starting to balk at our asking for coin rolls (and any loose change in the draw) and returning them at another branch where they had to have someone sit and count through it all, so figured it was easier to just buy them online. Alas, my son showed an initial interest which quickly faded away because his main intention was to flip things for profit. He was more keen to sell my stuff and make money for funding his own hobbies

I found a total of four thus far, three Weir Farms and an American Samoa all from the same 7/11 on different days. Like yourself, I bought four of the five 2019's in PCGS65 for under thirty each and only the Weir Farms for twenty. I like the 65 grade, middle of the road.

Great. Perhaps they kept getting regular supplies of their coins from someplace else that was more up to date unlike the banks in my neck of the wood. Did you ask them for more coins as change? And yeah, totally hear you on the MS 65 being the best grade to go without having to splurge more. The only coin that really messed up my final math was the 2019 American Memorial Park in Northern Mariana Islands coin

the pictures are a little dark, I suppose you could upgrade the pictures on it. still well done. the 2020 set could probably get a bump by upgrading the Tall grass prairie. the 2019 set can't be helped much without costing and arm and a leg to get to MS66 or better across the board. but there's room for improvement on the 2020W set if you wanted to.
Overall, well done. I have 3 of the designs, and nothing graded. LOL

The 2020 Ws are stupidly expensive. So I bought them...

Thank you jbuck for your kind words. @Big-Kingdom - Yup, needs better pictures because it was a quick add through the android app and lighting was not so great. Upgrade just does not make sense with those ridiculous prices for better grades. @BearlyHere - these W coins were selling at 10$ per coin and figured that around 30$ is an apt price for the slabbed version (factoring in postage and grading fees). Plus it really saves me the trouble of having to find them in the first place since it is circulation only, send them out to grade etc. I was waiting to do it the good old faashioned way and find them myself but the mint release of WW II privy ASE/AGE changed my mind/approach. Decided to take the shortcut when I saw many folks make the smart move of buying them from others instead of even trying to get it themselves in the mad rush online on a Thursday afternoon where the server was overwhelmed and all coins sold out in a matter of minutes.
