Numiscrat Valued Member United States 221 Posts	Posted 02/12/2021 11:52 pm Looking at those last photos, my bet is clear glue. If you have some acetone handy, it might take it off after a short soak. Not all adhesives come off with it, but many do. Many a discussion on here has been ended by an acetone bath. Report this Post to the Staff

Numiscrat Valued Member United States 221 Posts	Posted 02/13/2021 12:25 am Well, it might not be an adhesive or varnish at all, or it may be one that isn't easily affected by acetone, or it might just need a little longer soak. It isn't always instant. A clear coating of some sort is what I think I see from looking at the pics in front of me. Report this Post to the Staff
