Have 1901 s $5 liberty head and 1887 s $10 liberty head incased as jewelry. What should I do? They are in very good condition.

Both are pretty much melt value coins. Neither is particularly rare, and only really have a premium in AU and above.

How much would they be if they weren't necklaces? If I'm not mistaken I have more in the collection I've come into.

Are the bezels gold? If you want to sell them, it may be best to leave them as is. It may not be worth trying to carefully remove them.

They were both in secure deposit box, so I'd assume they're both gold. I'll take them to our local dealer. Thanks again everyone!

As noted, these are common gold coins and because of their use in jewelry their numismatic premium is near zero. Their value corresponds to the gold content. You might get a higher price selling them as-is to someone who appreciates them as jewelry.

The Bezels are *usualy* 14K Gold.
