I am looking for info on a 1978 Kennedy half dollar. On back Kennedy is upside down. Anyone know what's it worth? Thanks

Welcome to the CCF

On American coins, it is the opposite to Canadian coins, they have one side at 180 degrees to the other side. Your Kennedy is worth 50 cents US.

et Bienvenue!

From what I see a 1968-D Kennedy is not worth above the cost of professional grading until MS66 or MS67 (PCGS and NGC). PCGS recognizes a 1968-D TDO FS101 variety and those values go above $50 with MS63.

Stay well (soyez en bonne sante),

The term you are looking for is "Coin alignment" vs "Medal alignment" (even though more countries mint Medal alignment than Coin alignment.

If you hold a coin at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and flip it around and the reverse is correctly aligned, that's coin alignment.

12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, flip and it's correct, that's medal alignment.
