That's a good one. It doesn't look like circulation damage to me. Looks to me like it's something that happened when struck but I really don't know. Wish I had the knowledge to make a solid call in this one.

Is the lower piece loose on the coin? If so, it could be a lamination peel/struck through debris peel. Normal die wear affects this area first on cents. But not like what were are seeing here. Weight? over a bit?

3.1. Now I understand what JC from Cud's said " he's surprised that mine only has 0.0g not 0.00g." Guess I should get a different new scale I've had this for awhile. It's not loose.
I can get very up close with scope 20x4x but pictures lousy. I think if you blow up 5th shot looks like die flow is on extra peace below L?
