I am looking for comment on the 1882 Canadian Penny SSN variety.

Your coin is one of two different 1882 ssn's this one the O in Victoria is a full O, the other ssn to look for would have the bottom of the O in Victoria missing.

It is the 1881 single serif N that is the one to look for .. the '82 is common. There are 5 different Obverses for 1882, not counting the single serif N's.. Do an archive search here for the 1882's and you'll see examples for all of them. You have an Obv 1, 1a, 1a/1, 2, and 2/1. The mint was using left-over hubs and working dies from the 1876's (all of the '76's were Obv 1 single serif) and repunching done, in addition to introducing the Obv 2's and using more of the 1a hub.

47P7 by missing meaning incomplete O they are pretty easy to tell the difference
