It used to be you could pretty much find a 1940-S Retained Cud on any given night searching a bag of wheats. But it would seem that they are mostly pulled out at this point and just don't turn up as often. This one was in the final handful of the bag I'm finishing up tonight.

For some reason I've always been a Cud magnet. I actually carded a 1940-S in probably MS65RD last night as well ( Cud 12R) but they just don't pop on the uncirculated coins so didn't photograph it. I've still got a couple thousand circs sitting around so who knows what will show up next. Trying to get through some of those lately, as always neat stuff in them but it just takes time to look at so many coins.
