1936 Lincoln Wheat Cent Doubled Die - DDO-003, FS-103

Just a quick reminder to give those 1936 coins a good look. DDO-003 is a fairly strong doubled die, but other than on higher grade coins or really early die stages it is really easy to miss.

This die must have been released in my area.
I've found four or five in circulated bags and a couple uncs stacked beside each other in a dealers tray that had toned the same way. The uncs were probably from the same roll.
All of those die #3's and none of the first two dies.

Very cool find! Always thought this was a nice doubled die. It really pops in EDS and I think it's even tough to miss in LDS.

I find a couple every year in circulated bags, so it's not endlessly rare, but they seldom are very nice and looks like Stoneman has the killer! That's sharp squared.
