I work the cash at my local dollarama, and it seemed as tough this roll of loonies had never been used before, based on the plastic not-dollarama coin roll, how shiny they were and the fact that we had run out of loonies and bought some from he bank just days before. They were all those new Olympic 2008 coins, except for one on the end, which I completely blank. It doesn't even have those slightly "unrounded" edges loonies have, if that makes any
sense.

oh... then what you have is a blank upsetted planchet. You could go on ebay to get a price, but I would say I would pay $50 for it.

Thanks for the quick replies. I'll probably just keep it for the novelty factor if it isn't worth all that much. Thanks again, though.

Try to have the coin graded, it might be worth more then.
