It might be but I don't think so I am going to post a 1962 nickel wit a very unique Crack in the middle I will also post with it a 1940 nickel with steps tell me what you think &

Will you set the last. nickel woz environmental well here is a 2007 nickel that might be environmental as well but I really don't think so I think it's because the press on these ones were just a little bit too hot

OK so here is the 1962 nickel that actually has a crack right down the middle of it you can tell that came off the press like that

These all seem to be environmental damage. Better images would help with identification. As for the die crack, it just looks like a scratch to me. Sorry.

So the nickel that has the crack down the middle it's not a scratch believe me I guarantee if you guys download for your computer your phone the image you guys can blow it up and you'll see that it's not a Scratch that it is a crack seriously just copy the image M blowed up on your phone and you'll see or your computer

Try using the image optimizer. I agree that it's environmental damage, but it's a bit hard to say by these pics.

That last one looks like a scratch, but I should mention we like to keep threads at one coin each otherwise it gets a bit too confusing.
