shabzimandi New Member India 5 Posts	Posted 02/27/2021 08:13 am Hello Everyone, My name is Shabz and I am from India. I am mainly into collecting Indian and Commonwealth banknotes. This is my very first post on this Forum, and I hope I am following all the rules of this Forum. Anyways, I came across a note from my father's collection of which I would be interested to sell off as it isn't part of my theme. But am not sure of the price as the Standard Catalog (SCWPM - 19th Edition) doesn't state the price in UNC condition. Details: West African States (Senegal issue) 100 Francs 1961-65 Signature 5 AUNC+ Pick No. 701Kg I also tried searching various Auction Archives as well as ebay but I just couldn't locate this Pick No. 710Kg banknote in whatsoever condition. I am attaching the images of the banknote as well as photo of Standard Catalog. West African Notes are really dependent on which country it is from the more populaces countries are easier to obtain than smaller ones. Collectors trying to complete a set can go for years without finding a particular Letter and as such even the notes in poor condition can be pricey. Senegal is one of the larger countries. As for condition and value. There is really no such thing as an AUNC+. It is either EF or UNC. You note would be a EF. There is a light center crease that has been pressed out. There is pencil writing (possible Arabic script since it is was written from right to left) on the top left corner which has been partially removed.
