I came across a 1902 5 cent piece I believe was struck on the wrong planchet. Anyone ever come across this error?

Looks like PMD, either what they call a Dryer Coin or spooned rims. Do you have a scale that can weigh it?

Nope. That coin has been 'spooned' (look up that term).

It is just a damaged coin, a sterling silver conversation piece.
