This 1957 Wheat cent has a lot going on. Ive had it for a while but am just getting around to checking it out. And I believe I found it listed on Cuds on Coins as LDB4-1957-059 4EL+. Mine has a skull crack, and the die chip on right wheat stalk looks like it is a later die stage.
Thanks for looking.

Nice BIE. There's just insanely to many 57 on Cud's for me. Lol I just log them as a BIE with chips or whatever. It really has to be way way different before taking up JC's time.

Thanks Rob0411.
I havent been collecting for a very long time, just enjoy the search. I have found neumorous "BIE" LWC as well and usually return them to circulation, in hopes that someone else may find them and like I had.
It took me quite a while of searching and learning, mostly from this forum, before I actually found a bonafide error, or variety. My first was an RPM 1951 D/D LWC. I am pretty sure my seeing images of that RPM on VV and Wexlers and comparing it to the one I had in hand has fueled my interest in the hobby.
I agree there are "a lot" of "BIE" pennys out there, way too many to be of much value. Still, finding this 57 LWC, with several die events at the same time, I thought was way different, and seeing that it was listed is pretty cool.
I put it in a 2 x 2 and labeled it the same as what I found on Cuds on Coins. Then I figured I would post it and maybe give hope to a newbie who may be getting frustrated or discouraged at not finding anything "legit", that there are still error and variety coins to find in circulation that someone else has found and entered into a data base.

Not sure who JC is?
