Big different between a proof and business strike.
If your dealing with with an average circulated 52D, not a lot of any value unless your dealing with a variety or error.
Never clean a coin...... unless you want it to be worth face value. There are a few solvents such as acetone and xylene that are generally safe to use that won't alter the coin.
